What Are TAC Services?

TAC stands for Transport Accident Commission, a government-owned organisation in Victoria. The (TAC) is dedicated to assisting individuals who have been injured on Victoria’s roads. If you have experienced an injury in a transport-related incident, you may qualify for support from the TAC. This support covers a range of TAC services, including treatment options to aid in your recovery as well as ongoing assistance if your injury is severe, permanent, and requires long-term support.

Who Can Make A Claim For TAC Services?

If you or someone you’re acting on behalf of was involved in an accident caused by a car, motorcycle, bus, train, or tram, and you or they were injured or died as a result of that accident, you are eligible to make a claim for TAC services. This includes pedestrians and cyclists who were injured or died in accidents caused by the driving of a car, motorcycle, bus, train, or tram.
